Upcoming Content

At the moment, I have a lot of options for additional content. I don’t really have anything high priority on my ToDo list, so I figured I’d make a poll to see where people would like me to direct my energy. The results of the poll won’t guarantee or exclude any content. I’m prone to sudden burst of inspiration and writer’s block. This will just influence what areas I focus on.

What additional content would you most like to see in Night Games in the near future?

  1. One of the things I would like to see more of is the win and loss text of individual combats. It is always strange to win by having sex, and the dialog always describes how you finger her to orgasm. It would be nice to have some logic to see what was happening when you win or lose, and have it give you a more appropriate category of text.

    Alternatively, at least have more win/loss texts so the player does not always get the same one…

    I guess I could get off my lazy ass and contribute as well, but I am not sure if my “contributions” would take less time than Mr. Bard creating it from scratch.

  2. I voted for new skillsets, assuming that means some rebalancing of the combat mechanics. It’s definitely in the best state it’s ever been right now, but could still do with some improvements; notably, binding skills (like the ones Arcane and Dark use) and Seduction skills that don’t require removing clothing (like Kiss and Whisper) are fairly overpowered. It’s possible to bind someone or get bound and end up with a completely one-sided fight, taking so many turns to break free that the victim has either almost lost by that point or they can be easily re-bound, while the Seduction skills just do so much damage that it’s easier to just spam them then try to strip the target and use the intercourse skills.

    As for scenes, maybe contributions could help cover those? I, and judging from the comments, I’m sure a few others would be interested to write some scenes, if you could put up a listing of what needs to be worked on it could give us some ideas.

  3. You know what I would like? I would actually like victory to start feeling like victory.

    I’m increasingly getting turned off to this game because I’m getting peeved at how every scene has to have copious amounts of femdom regardless of context. I don’t mind femdom, but to have every victory turned into ‘lol, no, you’re actually on your back and drained of cum and the loser walks away confidently’ is irritating.

    This trend has gotten way to far, especially with the new contestants minus Kat.

    1. I disagree for some characters. It seems pretty appropriate for Jewel and Angel and even then their endings for penetration are fairly dominating. I’d say beating them normally is definitely them dominating you though. I don’t remember the succbus’s name but I do remember her having a submissive side if you beat her via penetration.

      That said, the option for more submissive endings depending on how you defeat them would be nice. I’d also like to see some of the older endings getting added to the back into a rotation of endings once they level up to 10. You may not get the effects like stealing all of Cassie’s mana but I liked a lot of the older scenes so having a rotation would be cool.

      I also agree with later mentioned posts, strap ons are annoying. I think there should be a limit on how many times they can put it on in a match. Either that or if dissolving solution removed it until they bought a new one. Then again if it was your intention to make them powerful then that’s cool, it’d be cool to make it a little similar though.

      This is also a minor nitpick but what’s your opinion on the speed of leveling? I get that it makes it a much faster paced game but a result it’s a lot harder to really do stuff with the girls before you start really getting high in levels. It’s impossible to visit every girl and get their skills by level 10 while also buying things and getting your stats up. Hell its pretty difficult to get by level 20. In my opinion I think the leveling should be scaled back a bit to allow players to get a bit more day time before classes come in. It makes for a slower game but it also gives a little more freedom in what you can do during the day to power yourself up and get more scenes without worrying about it getting too challenging too quickly.

      1. Regarding leveling, I wonder how hard it would be to have a “level progression” setting that would affect how much XP everyone has to have to level up? So, for example, if normal leveling happens at each doubling of XP: 25->50->100->200, you could have “fast” leveling at 1.5: 25->38->57->86, and “slow” leveling at 2.5: 25->63->158->395. Assuming the XP numbers are easy to get to, it does not seem like it would be too tricky to add.

    2. Yeah you know I kind of thought about this myself. Like, its one thing if its a close match and the personality of who you are attacking is arrogant, but it does kind of break immersion if I finish a match with full health, zero arousal, and confidently forcing a bound, blushing, and helpless girl to climax via footjob, it does seem strange that it ends with it being a near thing and her milking me dry regardless, or something to that effect.

      Its not really game breaking or anything, and really not even the first thing that could be worked on (hell, I voted for more threesomes) its just something worth the thought.

  4. Well nergrante had a good idea in the mod that, unfortunately, didnt truly make, and that is influencing fetishes, for example foot fetish, penis fetish… i think that adding that with scenes for the starter girls would be quite good.

    So i would say its a combination of more scenes and more traits. I think the less necessary thing is new characters, its better to have the actual ones but with better depth.

    But well, im happy with anything you do silverbard, and merry christmas!!!

  5. I would like to see some kind of finish to the game. Whether its pursuing a girl til an official relationship, or some kind of sequence of events with the mysterious benefactor that ends the protagonist’s involvement. As it is the game always scales until its very very difficult to win without having a perfect skill set or modifying a save file (at least for me).

    This is a very entertaining game, but if I had a second vote I’d like to second cleaning up the mechanics a bit so some of the stuff felt more balanced. There’s two issues that drive me nuts, the girls getting higher and higher speed which makes every battle lopsided, and the strap on stun lock. Girl puts on strap on potentially cancelling your own move, smashing mojo, and protecting vital areas all with one move. Take it off, and they put it on again. Unlike other clothing it seems to always be available. There are others, but between those two, part way into the game its just entirely lopsided to me depending on what build I went for kicks.

    Anyway cheers for making a fun and naughty game.

  6. I voted other as I would like to see more Facesitting in your movesets for your characters. Kat is my favorite and would love to see her doing some Facesitting moves or Stinkface moves to him.

  7. I would like to see some more in-fight taunts/comments to what is going on in the fight. Some of the taunts seem a little strange during fucking/pegging, and it would be somewhat nice to have the girls “comment” on the situation outside of taunting and the stun-liner.

    Appart from that, a more cohesive AI that actually sets for a certaing goal for at least a few turns would be nice. At the moment, the AI can me quite random at times.

  8. Loved the game so far, however cinfing spell needs some balance in my opinion, too powerfull on either sides.
    Btw, does somebody know hot to get Cassie pegging scene? tried to give her a strapon ans enough seduction to use it via save editing but game crashes…

    1. It’s best to wait until she has enough seduction naturally then add the strapon to her inventory, and it’ll work as normal.

  9. In the late game I’m constantly having to click to go to the second page of fighting moves, even though I never use half of them and even though all of them would easily fit on my screen. I’d love an option to hide certain moves or display them all at once.

  10. I’d enjoy some more skill-specific Victory/Defeat scenes, whether for the new girls or the old.

    The ability to play as a female, or even a futa, would be awesome as well. I know that’d be a lot of work though, so I kinda feel bad even bringing it up XD

  11. Punishment game for the loser, ie have to streak through the quad, have to wear something embarrassing for a day, or have to get a piercing or tattoo.

  12. Categorized battle menu(s).
    Could be done either by skillset or action tags or even a mix of the two.
    For examples…
    (By skillset) The top/initial action menu would show all skillsets that the player has moves in, selecting one would then show skills specific to what was chosen+back. Might require a separate menu for standard actions.
    (By category) The top/initial action would show action categories, like summons/grapples/defensive/etc. Some moves might show in multiple categories, like dive or that evade/counter stance/buff.

    Also, though much less important, would be a way to enable/disable/toggle any passive effects/perks gained. You can’t decrease skill levels, so if by chance you unlock something you don’t want, you’re pretty much limited to being forced to have an unwanted perk or being forced to load a previous save and not progress in that skill anymore.

  13. I know you’ve mentioned previously that it would require a lot of work, but I’d love for an option to play as a girl. Failing at that I always more character based stuff (more characters, more scenes with existing characters, etc.).

  14. I want a scene of Eve creampieing me.

    What’s the point of a futa if she doesn’t even punish your asshole in at least one scene.
