====== Power ======
Power is primarily used to control and subdue targets. Power skills mostly deal pain, which has the primary effect of reducing the target's [[mechanic:stamina_arousal_and_mojo|stamina]]. When stamina reaches zero, the target is stunned. Pain also has the side effect of reducing arousal. Some skills also are aimed at knocking the target over.

Power can be permanently increased in the following ways:
  * level up
  * chance to increase by 1 for both characters when [[day:activities:activities|sparring]] with an NPC during the daytime
  * increase by 2 when staying in and choosing to [[night:activities:activities|study power techniques]] on nights off
Power can be temporarily increased by the [[item:consumables|Bull Potion]].

  * The [[character:player_created_character|player character]] has a chance to notice his increased strength in the mornings starting at 15 Power.
  * Steel box [[night:deployable:caches_types|item caches]] can be opened with a Power check.
