====== Discipline ======
Discipline is an advanced attribute based on controlling your own composure while demanding the obedience of your opponent. Discipline improves and relies upon use of the [[item:sex_toys|Riding Crop]]. 

Further, certain levels of Discipline are required to unlock extra daytime events that can be seen while visiting [[character:valerie|Valerie]]: 15 (on top of sufficient affection with [[character:justine|Justine]]) is required for the first set of events, and 30 (on top of sufficient affection with Valerie) is required for the second set.

Valerie uses Discipline when she is unlocked.
===== Unlocking =====
Discipline is unlocked a the same time as [[character:valerie|Valerie]]. Once the [[character:player_created_character|player character]] reaches level 10, he can ask [[character:information_broker|Aesop]] about more competition and pay $1000 to unlock her. After the first visit, Discipline Training will appear on Valerie's list of interactions; choose this to gain your first point in Discipline.

Discipline can be permanently increased in the following ways:
  * level up
  * choose Discipline Training to increase by 1 with [[character:valerie|Valerie]] once per day during the daytime.
===== Other Interactions =====
  * With 1 Discipline, at the start of combat the user automatically becomes [[mechanic:status_effects|Composed]], making user take reduced pleasure damage, tend towards [[mechanic:emotion|confidence]], and able to use various Discipline skills. Composure is lost by becoming Shamed, Buzzed, Masochistic, or Bound, by receiving pain to genitals or pleasure to the ass. When Composure is lost, the user becomes [[mechanic:status_effects|Broken]], increasing pleasure received but also increasing [[attribute:power|Power]] and [[attribute:speed|Speed]].
  * With 9 Discipline, the user gains Confident Stance, which makes the user harder to knock down when [[mechanic:status_effects|Composed]].
  * With 15 Discipline, the user gains Reward Strike: if the user is [[mechanic:status_effects|Composed]] and the target is [[mechanic:status_effects|Masochistic]] and pantsless, the [[item:sex_toys|Riding Crop]] will deal bonus pleasure damage to target.
